"After years of having gym memberships that I never used, I am amazed at how working out has become such an important part of my life.
I've been training twice a week with Mike and Derik since August of 2007. With their upbeat and practical approach, they encourage you to set goals and then support you in your efforts to attain them.; My personal goal is to be healthy now at 36 and establish habits that will keep me healthy when I'm 96. So far so good! I'm in the best shape of my life and have lost about 25pounds and two dress sizes over the past year. I'm eating better, more aware of how my body works and what it needs. On a practical note, I've never been an avid fan of gyms and I'd always been a bit intimidated by the intensity one might associate with personal training. However, any hesitation was quickly dispelled as the entire team at Science Fitness creates a positive, secure, encouraging environment where those with any level of fitness will feel welcome and comfortable.
I work out with my friend Susie and we have different strengths and weaknesses, Mike seamlessly address each of our unique needs during our sessions. They gently and safely push you further than you think you can gosomething I know I need every now and then!
